How does ManuSync fit with the Lean and JIT approach?
ManuSync gives you more control over your plant, allowing you to accelerate your lean strategy by scheduling only what the customer requires when the customer requires it. ManuSync is almost completely user configurable; You specify the rules for running your shop, i.e., batch size of 1 or 200, Replenishment to Supermarket, build to order, you have control.
The DBR algorithm allows you run your plant even leaner than Kanban. Buffers are strategically placed only where necessary to protect the critical parts of the process, resulting in better plant performance and superior delivery reliability.
In short, ManuSync helps you be as lean as you can be.

Short answer....Yes. It has been implemented successfully in a wide variety of environments that are labor, material and machine constrained.
Is there a trial version for download?
Our experience has proven the “do-it-yourself” method does a poor job of demonstrating the benefits of ManuSync successfully. Due to the uniqueness of each process, the actual product demonstration is structured using YOUR factory and YOUR data in a proof-of-concept test. The demonstration is actually part of a larger process of assessing your factory on-site to determine where and how the application will yield the greatest benefits.
