*** 2006 Global Jonah
Course Schedule Announced! ***
Pinnacle Strategies is sponsoring another Global Jonah Course in 2006. This course, hosted by each attending company, is the only program that offers training in EVERY area of the ToC body of knowledge. While preparing attendees to return to their companies as skilled “Jonahs” with real world ToC experience, the program will also strengthen the implementations at five different companies.
This year’s course will take to the field, offering opportunities to learn, on location, at companies where ToC implementations are taking place. Because the attendees will come from companies engaging in a ToC approach to business, the learning will be enhanced by the experiences of the others. Plant tours and an in-depth analytical look at the implementations will be part of the intensive training attendees will receive.
The host companies (selected from noncompetitive industries, of course) will be those employing the course attendees. Classes will run three to four days per month in all months of 2006 except July, November and December. By the conclusion of the course, each attendee will have achieved a demonstrable understanding in each of the areas of the Theory of Constraints (ToC) body of knowledge. Each will receive a Certificate of Recognition from the TOC-ICO
and a “Jonah” certification.
Update (November 1, 2005)
The 2005 Jonah Course has been a huge success!
Participation has come from a broad base of manufacturing
environments in the US and Asia with students learning "real-world"
solutions promoting bottom line results. Take a moment and
review
the 2006 course calendar (below) and secure your seat for what promises to
be another exciting year.
Students report......
"The
instructor had numerous examples from prior experience with examples
that relate to real on-the-job problems while exploring various
changes and their effects on distribution."
"This
course (ToC
for Sales)
changed many of my ideas about selling. I had to throw away
concepts that had been accepted because they were the "norm" - not
because they worked. In using what I've learned so far, the
results are amazing!"
"It was great
for our sales and operations departments to attend together.
It has been much easier to focus our efforts on improving throughput
overall instead of individual efforts. The old adage is
true...A rising tide lifts all boats!"
